O Adonai
O Lord of ancient Israel,
who showed yourself to Moses in the burning bush,
who gave him the holy law on Sinai mountain:
Come, stretch out your mighty hand to set us free.
Prayer of St. John of the Cross
O Blessed Jesus,
give me stillness of soul in You.
Let Your mighty calmness reign in me.
Rule me, O King of Gentleness,
King of Peace.

RECIPES FROM RITA: BOURSIN CHEESE, PISTACHIO AND HOT HONEY APPETIZER
So easy there’s no recipe except for the hot honey!
Just heat to a simmer 1 cup honey with 2 teaspoons or so hot red pepper flakes. Remove from heat, stir in 1 tablespoon cider vinegar. Cool and strain. Now for the app:Just smear a disk of garlic & herb Boursin cheese on a small platter. Sprinkle about 1/2 cup chopped pistachios on top, then drizzle with “hot” honey. Serve with crackers or toasted baguette.
