Maximum tax benefits depend on timing. Here’s how to complete your 2023 gift to Sacred Heart Radio by year end.
Your gift by check
US Postal Service
- Date your check on or before Dec. 31, 2023, and
- Mail via U.S. Postal Service with postmark on or before Dec. 31, 2023.
- Gift checks mailed via U.S. Postal Service with postmark and check date on or before Dec. 31, 2023 will be counted for 2023 regardless of when they are received at Sacred Heart Radio.

Your gift by credit card
The way you send your gift (mail, phone, on-line) determines the deadline, since your credit card gift is effective for tax purposes on the date the card is charged.
Credit card gifts via U.S. Postal Service
- Your credit card gift must be received in the office of Sacred Heart Radio. (Eastern Standard Time) Sunday, Dec. 31st, 2023 deadline in order to be charged.

After Dec. 15, you may prefer to make your gift online or by telephone to avoid mailing or shipping delays and help ensure your credit card gift is processed in time to count for 2023 tax purposes. See below for those deadlines.
