Kathleen Wilson

Kathleen Wilson is the founder and Executive Director of Mary's Shelter. Located in Fredericksburg, VA, Mary’s Shelter is a Christ - centered program, providing long-term housing, guidance, and support to women (along with any additional children she may have) facing a crisis during their pregnancy.

Mary's Shelter offers a three year stay in their homes, so women have time to reach housing, parenting, counseling, educational, and employment goals, making independent living for their families a safe and viable reality. Over the past 17 years, Mary's Shelter has served hundreds of women in need.

Kathleen lives in Virginia with her husband David.  They have raised 12 children, both biological and adopted, who inspire them every day.
