Krista Cornish Scott

A homeschooling mom and a well-known soprano who sings with professional choral and chamber music groups around the Cincinnati area, Krista Cornish Scott has a rare specialty in sacred music – the work of St. Hildegarde of Bingen, a medieval genius and abbess named a Doctor of the Church in 2012, whose many talents included composing.

Heri et Hodie is an intimate treble voice ensemble that revels in both medieval and modern music, specifically researching and promoting the work of women composers. Equally comfortable with the classical realm but also delving into folk traditions of Balkan womens’ music or Nordic inspired echoes of the Vikings, Heri et Hodie brings humor and history together with engaging and dynamic musical presentations.
