Kate Makra

Kate Makra is the Executive Director of Cleveland Right to Life and the President-Elect of the Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio.

A lifelong woman of faith, Kate previously served as the Executive Director of Embrace Clinic & Care Center, a Christian pro-life crisis pregnancy center in northeast Ohio. During her time there, Kate’s passion for making a difference in the lives of the vulnerable grew stronger, as did her desire to protect the pre-born.

Kate is a licensed attorney who served as an assistant prosecutor in both Ohio and Indiana. She worked tirelessly to achieve justice for those who were victimized by sexual predators, domestic abusers and stalkers. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana.
