Michael DiStefano

Michael DiStefano, the founder of Fidei Email, is on a mission to reclaim technology for Christendom, starting with email services tailored for Catholics and Catholic businesses. His journey began when he met a friar who asked for his email address, prompting the thought, "Friars have email?" This simple interaction sparked a realization that technology, like us, is shaped in the image of its creator. As society increasingly
removes itself from its Christian bearings, its creations take on ever more uncanny forms, transforming technology from a useful tool to an oppressive master.
As a convert to the Catholic faith and a former software engineer in the heart of Big Tech in San Francisco, Michael witnessed firsthand the secular anti-culture prevalent in the tech industry. This experience
inspired him to take action and create technology infused with Catholic values. Just as one might choose to support a local Catholic baker who makes fantastic bread with simple, wholesome ingredients, Michael
believes that Catholics should have the option to support technology companies that align with their values.
Through Fidei, Michael aims to create tools made by Catholics for the faithful, enabling them to live in the world but not of it. When your email ends in @fidei.email, you're announcing that you want to use
technology to build up, rather than tear down, Christendom.
