Dr. Rachel Fulton Brown
Dr. Rachel Fulton Brown is an associate professor of history at the University of Chicago, where she teaches about the intellectual and cultural history of Europe in the Middle Ages, with particular emphasis on the history of Christianity in the Latin West; the history of European civilization; and the works of J. R. R. Tolkien.
She's a blogger, podcaster, and competitive fencer. Her books on medieval Catholic devotion to Mary include “Mary & the Art of Prayer” and “From Judgement to Passion: Devotion to Christ and the Virgin Mary."
