Deacon Girard-Marie Anthony

Deacon Gerard-Marie Anthony is a theologian, author, apologist, and servant of the people of God in dht Diocese of Arlington, VA. He has taught the faith for more 20 years, and is the Spiritual Director of the Legion of Mary, the world’s largest lay evangelization organization, and A M.O.M.S. Peace, which helps accompany women experiencing miscarriages or stillbirths. He is a board member of the Mother of Light Center which helps the less fortunate while upholding their dignity, and a board member of Divine Mercy Home, an organization dedicated to helping people find authentic end of life Catholic Health Care.

Deacon Anthony received his B.A in Theology from Christendom College and his M.A in Theology from the Catholic Distance University. He has written for numerous magazines and newspapers including Crisis Magazine, Deacon Digest, Lay Witness, Our Sunday Visitor, Ethics & Medics, Homiletics and Pastoral Review, and The Arlington Catholic Herald. He has made numerous appearances on radio shows including Catholic Drive Time, Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo, and the SonRise Morning Show, and is a special guest on EWTN’s The Church Universal.
