During this Jubilee year, join us as Pilgrims of Hope for Creation! Catholic communities across the United States are coming together to organize local Catholic pilgrimages—including Laudato Si’ pilgrimages, Jubilee pilgrimages, and Jubilee of Hope pilgrimages—as sacred opportunities to pray for the grace to encounter Christ in Creation and renew our relationships with God, the Earth, and one another.
The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur invite all to their motherhouse for a virtual tour based on the life of Sr. Dorothy Stang, who was killed in the Amazon on February 12, 2005, protecting vulnerable communities and their lands.
This virtual pilgrimage is of eight scenes of Dorothy Stang’s life, love and martyrdom through a virtual visit to sites in Dayton. A period of reflection and prayer will follow each snapshot of her journey.
The morning will conclude with an invitation to take action.
