The Dominicans at St. Gertrude will say Mass in the medieval Dominican rite on the day the Order celebrates Feast of St. Catherine of Siena. The church’s professional choir will sing the Messa à quattro, composed in 1642 by the Benedictine nun Chiara Margarita Cozzolani, and motets by Monteverdi and Bassano and the organist will play works by Frescobaldi and Pasquini. All welcome.
