LESSONS & CAROLS
Lessons & Carols is a time of spiritual reflection during Advent, using readings from Sacred Scripture and music to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. The evening will be led by a combined Family of Parishes Choir, the Children’s Choir, and guest musicians. There will be selections from the choirs andopportunities for the congregation to sing along.
BLESSING OF THE BAMBINELLI
During the evening, we will also celebrate the Blessing of the Bambinelli. Please bring a figurine of the Baby Jesus, especially from your family nativity set, to be blessed during the event. After the blessing, take your bambinello home, placeit in a wrapped gift box, and set it under your Christmas tree. Let it be the firstgift your family opens on Christmas morning as you place the blessedBaby Jesus in the manger and welcome Christ into your home.
SWEET TREATS
We’ll conclude the evening with refreshments and sweet treats. We look forward to celebrating with you!
