Adult Spirituality Institute Class on the Psalms begins, Mt. Washington

Fr. Timothy Schehr, Professor Emeritus of Biblical Studies, will present a four-week Adult Spirituality Institute class for laypeople at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology every Monday in October from April 13-May 4 from 10 AM-noon in the Bartlett Center. The course, “Praying with the Psalms, Part 2” will explore how to read the psalms to discover what they reveal about us and about God. Part 1 was in October; it is not a requirement for this class.

Founded by Fr. Robert Hater, the Adult Spirituality Institute (ASI) offers short-term, non-credit courses and seminars in conjunction with, and held at, Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology.  Its mission is to foster ongoing spiritual development by providing courses and events presented by outstanding Seminary and regional scholars.  Enrichment and enjoyment are the goals!  We invite people of all ages and religions who wish to further their spiritual development in the light of our faith tradition.
