Prayer of St. Francis before the Crucifix
Most High, glorious God,
Enlighten the darkness of my heart, And give me right faith,
Certain hope,
And perfect charity,
Wisdom and understanding,
Lord, that I may carry out
Your holy and true command. Amen.
