Dr. Paul Shrimpton

Dr. Paul Shrimpton gained his BA and MA from Balliol College, Oxford, and has taught at Magdalen College School, Oxford, since 1981. He began researching the educational ideas of John Henry Newman in 1990. His books include "A Catholic Eton? Newman’s Oratory School," "Conscience before conformity: Hans and Sophie Scholl and the White Rose resistance in Nazi Germany," and "The Most Dangerous Man in England': Newman and the Laity" (Word on Fire Academic, 2025).
