Ron Hendershot and Bernie O\’Bryan

Ron Hendershot is the President of the annual St. John Passion Play, and Bernie O'Bryan is the director.
Bernie O’Bryan is the director of the St. John Passion Play. A technology consultant with advanced degrees in Business and Mathematics, he has has also worked as a news announcer, disk jockey, museum director, choreographer, writer, and performer. A member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, several fraternal groups, Holy Cross Church, and St. Anthony, he has fostered handicapped children with his wife, Pam, and has performed with the Cincinnati Opera and the Cincinnati Ballet as well as on stage in one-man shows and with his daughter, and in network television films. Characters he has portrayed include a United States general, a blind Rebel soldier, a Vice Presidential candidate, a two-headed cow, a slave master, a medieval servant, Thor, and many biblical characters.
Ron Hendershot is president of the St. John Passion Play. Scouted as a pitcher by the Houston Astros and graduated from the Columbia School of Broadcasting with hopes of being a baseball announcer but ended up working as an aerospace engineer. A certified herbalist and nutritionist, he writes for numerous publications, restores Mustangs, coaches, and has performed in the St. John Passion Play with his family for more than 10 years.
