Vespers and Early Music Concert at Cincinnati’s Cathedral

L. Brett Scott (College-Conservatory of Music; Musica Sacra) and Reina Dickey (Miami University) will lead their newly formed professional early music vocal ensemble in a vespers service followed by a concert, both featuring newly discovered sacred polyphony from 16th and 17th century Portugal and co-edited by Dr. Scott for publication for Scherzo Editions in Portugal.

Come experience beautiful and unique vespers settings which have not been heard for centuries, and never before outside of Portugal. The concert will include unaccompanied settings of psalms texts, settings of the Magnificat, and devotional motets.

Free and open to the public.  Free parking in the lot next to the cathedral.
