Ugandan Martyrs Feast Day Mass in Mason

Most Rev. Lambert Bainomugisha is the Archbishop of Mbarara, where St. Susanna’s twinning parish is located. He will be traveling to Ohio from June 24th to July 3rd. We are privileged to be able to celebrate the Ugandan Martyrs Feast Day with him presiding. Everyone is invited to attend a reception at the Meyer Center following the Mass.

Archbishop Bainomugisha was born on July 12, 1961 at Kashumba, Buhungiro Parish, Archdiocese of Mbarara to Joseph Mugyenyi (RIP) and Matilda Kahwa (RIP). He was ordained a priest on July 13, 1991 at Nyamitanga Cathedral, Mbarara. He served the Archdiocese of Mbarara in various roles over the years. Including, obtaining his Doctorate in Canon Law from St. Paul’s University in Ottawa, Canada in 2000. He was ordained the Bishop on October 1, 2005 and served as the Auxiliary Bishop until he became the Archbishop of Mbarara on June 20, 2022.
