Solemn Passiontide Vespers and Concert of Sacred Music

The Mount St. Mary’s Latin Schola will lead the congregation in singing the hymns, psalms and canticles of Vespers for the Fifth Sunday of Lent, in the Chapel of  St. Gregory the Great

Following Vespers, the Schola will perform a concert of sacred music for Passiontide, including Gregorian chant, a setting of the Stabat mater by Francesco Feroci and other motets by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Orlando di Lassus and Antonio Lotti. Please join us as we begin this most sacred time of the liturgical year with these beautiful works of the Church’s treasury.
