Lenten Lunch with the Lord, 3

Join Dr. Ceil Dorger for the Cathedral Basilica’s Lenten Lunch with the Lord series, a meditation on the art that illustrates The Seven Sorrows of the Virgin Mary. As Mary said “yes” to being the Mother of God, so also did she accept the sufferings that went with the role. Through love and compassion, she bore the trials and agonizing death of her Son, Jesus Christ. Come for the three Wednesdays in Lent as you and others discover the depth of Mary’s love manifested in her own suffering. Bring a friend, bring a brown bag lunch if you wish. It is free! It begins right after 11:30 a.m. Mass downstairs in Synod Hall, Wednesdays, March 15, 22, and 29.
