“If we do not know where we come from, it is hard to know what role we play.” In his lecture, ‘The Story of Catholic Education: Renewing Our Schools,’ Dr. Michael Naughton will provide a compelling narrative of Catholic education that will draw upon personal, institutional, and cosmic stories. This narrative will give a vision both to see the current educational challenges more clearly and to act with confidence and creativity to renew the mission and culture of our Catholic schools.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Dr. Michael Naughton has been a teacher for more than forty years on both the secondary and university levels. Currently he is the director of the Center for Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas (Saint Paul, Minnesota) where he holds the Koch Chair in Catholic Studies.
