Join The Angelico Project for a Christmas Gathering and Potluck at our December Evening for Artists with a special presentation by Lucy Rahner. New members welcome.
The topic of the evening is “The Importance of Play in Making Serious Art“.
Lucy holds a B.A. in Studio Art and Cultural Sociology from Vanderbilt University, where she was a Curb Scholar for Creative Enterprise and Public Leadership, and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, where she was a President’s Scholar and has served as adjunct faculty. She has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture, Orein Arts, and St. Joseph’s Artisans, and works as both a figurative oil painter and a conceptual sculptor. She enjoys curating topic-focused art exhibitions for Arthouse2B, New York’s Catholic artist collective, and this past year she completed two large-scale oil paintings for St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich Village, which were installed alongside the oldest fresco in the U.S.
Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. We hope to see you there!
