The theme for this year’s Regnum Christi Called to Create Artists’ Retreat is “Stained and Sainted.”

Art historian and adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary Seminary and School of Theology, Dr. Ceil Dorger, will speak on Gothic Architecture and the spiritual symbolism of stained glass.  Retreat Master, Fr. Thomas Flynn, will be our spiritual director, leading us in meditations, celebrating Holy Mass and serving as our confessor. Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the art and beauty of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Retreat Center will provide added inspiration for our creative work.

Studio time will be included where artists will create, share ideas and get to know one another. Bring the medium/media and surface that you are most comfortable working with (paints, pastels, graphite, ink, canvas, paper, wood,…) and produce a work of art inspired by our retreat theme of “Stained and Sainted.” Project ideas and examples will be available to spark your creativity.

Hosted by Regnum Christi of Toledo and co-sponsored by The Angelico Project. All Catholic artists invited!  For more information email Karrie King at: [email protected]
